The Foundation of The Old Guard Hires Operations Officer

The Foundation of The Old Guard, Inc. (FOGI) announces the hiring of a part-time operations officer.

Matt DeWaegeneer, who twice served in 3d Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard), most recently as the S1/Personnel Officer in 1st Battalion/3d Infantry, accepted the position as FOGI's first Operations Officer.  Matt's responsibilities will include orchestrating the day-to-day operations of FOGI.

"This is an important update to our organization," said Joe Buche, FOGI's Chairman of the Board & Executive Director.  "Not only is Matt a terrific and talented person now on our team, but he brings with him a tremendous understanding of the Regiment and a wealth of other capabilities.  We're overjoyed to have Matt as one of our teammates."
